What does a prosperous, equitable and resilient local economy look like to you? Do you have ideas for how local businesses can better support people to thrive? What would it take for young people to become more involved in the growing community business movement?

The pandemic has shone a light on the powerful things that can happen when local people come together to take action in their neighbourhoods. But the recent crisis has also exacerbated a number of social and economic challenges in local communities, from loneliness and social isolation, growing unemployment and high street decline, to the tangible effects of climate change on our poorest communities. In this context we need to find new ways to unlock the potential and power of local people in safeguarding and strengthening our local economies.

This session is designed for participants aged under 35. If you have any questions about this event or Common Vision’s wider work please contact: miriam.brightbart@covi.org.uk
