Channel 4 Production Training Scheme

Applications for the 2022 Channel 4 Production Training Scheme are now open and will close at noon on 8^th November.

The scheme offers year-long paid placements for entry-level candidates with independent production companies across the UK. Trainees also receive training from our partner organisation ThinkBigger throughout their placement. The scheme is aimed at getting underrepresented groups into the industry, including disabled people, ethnically diverse people and those from a lower-socio economic background.

This year, the scheme will be focused on Scripted Drama companies, with roles on offer as a Scripted Development Assistant or as a Trainee Assistant Script Editor (the role will be dependent on the company applied for). They will be offering 12 placements across 10 companies, based in Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool, Glasgow and London.
