Hearing your views on school and youth work partnerships!
The NYA want to hear your views on how to improve learning in and out of education settings (schools, colleges) with the support of youth work and/or youth workers.
Youth work with schools review
The NYA for the past few months has been exploring what partnerships between youth services/organisations and schools look like.
This has been supported by an expert panel from the youth and education sectors with a wealth of evidence submitted by schools, academies and youth organisations.
Online sessions details are as follows:
- Date: Thursday 11th August
- Time: 19:00-20:15
- Online platform: Zoom
Having created a draft review of main points that have been lifted from the evidence, we would like consult young people on what they think – you would gain a £15 Amazon voucher for your attendance and opinions.
Perhaps you have viewpoints on how youth work or youth workers could support schools? Or ways in which teachers and school staff could change their ways of working?
Or even how systems and processes surrounding education settings could be changed for the benefit of young people?
You can hear more about the review and what the session would contain in this video and/or by reading through the introduction on the typeform.
If you sign up to the session, you’ll receive another video and more information before the session so you feel prepared to give your viewpoint.
If you’re interested in taking part, click on the ‘Apply’ button below, that will take you to a typeform to sign up to the session.
