What made you who you are today? If you were given a helping hand when you were young, then you will know how important that moment in a young person’s life can be. Being offered a safe place to go, encouragement, and the chance to learn new skills and take part in activities we feel passionate about can transform a young person’s life and their long-term prospects.

We have an exciting opportunity for new Trustees to join the UK Youth Board responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the Charity. We are looking for people from all walks of life who can demonstrate a genuine passion for empowering young people, coupled with high levels of integrity. We are especially looking for people who have professional or lived experience and expertise in any of the following areas:

• Governance
• HR
• Working in the youth sector
• Finance
• Education
• Policy development and implementation
• Fundraising
• Digital
• Innovation

We are particularly interested in receiving applications from young candidates (e.g., young people aged 18-25) who are benefitting from or have benefited from youth work.
